In regards to your health these days it seems everyone has an opinion on what you should be doing for your body. The fast moving health industry is always ready to tell you exactly what you’re doing wrong through claims made by research that may or may not be sound. The trouble is they ALL SAY SOMETHING DIFFERENT! 

Does this scenario sound familiar?

  • You went in for a check up and a doctor said your cholesterol is too high and that you should stop eating eggs.
  • Then you went to a nutritionist who said you should exercise more and eat egg whites
  • So you found a personal trainer who kicked your butt multiple times per week and said you should eat raw eggs for breakfast.
  • Once your back started to hurt you went to a Chiropractor who said you should come in for an multiple adjustments per week and that you’re allergic to eggs. 

I've been there

My name is Casey Shivers. In college, I studied health science and was the captain of the women's basketball team. I worked out hard almost everyday and restricted my calories. I compared my body to what I was told "pretty" was and I thought I didn't measure up. Guilt and unrealistic expectations were associated with every meal, I secretly binged and purged. I placed the same feelings and expectations on my friends, family and early clients. Despite my knowledge and efforts, I gradually gained weight, became chronically sick, tired and depressed.

I visited doctors, looked to guru's, took courses, acted "as if", and read and read and read. I studied exercise, nutrition, behavior, motivation, and pathophysiology. I've tried many diets, exercise programs and supplements. I've run a ton of lab work on myself and invested in various health coaches/mentors. I've made A LOT of mistakes. After being professionally in this field for almost 10 years, I've observed what produces sustainable health. I have a body that I love, I haven't taken a sick day in years, and I have energy to give to others. My relationships are healthier and I think I'm even funnier than before :)

"Transform Your Health From The Inside Out: An 8 Week No-diet Diet" is designed to bridge the gap between "the hard science" of how the body works and the psychological factors that directly influences behavior. The curriculum breaks down complicated physiological processes into simple and easy to understand concepts and attaches those harder concepts to softer ones like purpose, self-love, and behavior change. Participants will be empowered through education and challenged through introspective discussion and homework - all centered on how to create a better relationship with food and body.
