As businesswomen, we often give so much of ourselves - to our business, to our family, to our friends - and this can lead us to feeling emptied out! Regular business networking sometimes contributes to this feeling. Let's face it, passing around business cards and engaging in small talk isn't always the most fulfilling way to spend our time, and it isn't even always the best way to find business!
We believe that people do business with people, not with businesses, and building relationships with others is a wonderful way to network and build our businesses. We believe that networking should be about building those relationships, as well as about filling up our own cups, not just filling up everyone else's!
We came up with the idea of Meaningful Monday - Nourishing Networking for Women to create an inviting and nourishing place for women to build relationships with other businesswomen while participating in programs that will teach us things to enhance and enrich our businesses.
Meaningful Monday meets once a month, on the second Monday. At each meeting we have time for open networking, introductions, and a presentation and discussion designed to provide us with learning and information that will help us to create the businesses of our dreams!
There is never a charge for this meeting, but we do ask that you bring a donation of a non-perishable food item to share with those less fortunate than ourselves. We believe in giving back!
Refreshments (wine, coffee, tea and snacks) are provided each meeting by that month's meeting sponsors. In return for sharing with us in this way, we give them a special spotlight introduction. There are 2 sponsor spots available at each meeting.
We sincerely hope you'll join us for this women's networking (with a twist!) group.
